West Michigan truckers are getting a helping hand through the COVID-19 pandemic.

West Michigan International and K&R Truck Sales are providing lunch to truck drivers from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. April 3 at two its dealership locations.

Lunch pickup will be at West Michigan International, 575 56th St. SW, Grand Rapids and K&R Truck Sales, 840 Interchange Drive, Holland.

“During this pandemic crisis, we have truck drivers that are on the front lines delivering much-needed goods and supplies to keep the economy running,” said Ed Rietman, dealer principal, West Michigan International and K&R Truck Sales. “Many of them find it difficult to find a place to eat or park. Most places don’t allow a semi-truck to go through the drive-thru.”

The dealerships will be adhering to the CDC guidelines of social distancing and hygiene and will be providing a boxed meal to hand off to drivers as they drive through.
