Grand Rapids-based True Women’s Health will launch a virtual care app, True Women, and begin seeing patients Monday through telehealth.

The wellness clinic is focused on women’s health with personalized one-on-one care and an expert in midlife, menopause and sexual health.

The True Women app will offer virtual visits with founder and OB/GYN Diana Bitner, MD, who is a North American Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner and has more than 28 years of experience serving thousands of women across West Michigan.

The app enables users to track and manage symptoms and activities and improve women’s overall wellness. The True Women’s Health team can monitor a user’s progress and the results tracked on the mobile app will be discussed at a patient’s appointment and used for virtual visits.

“We believe a woman’s sexual health and overall well-being is essential at any age, and our telehealth app gives women access to resources even in times of stress and isolation,” Bitner said. “My experience has taught me that women who practice self-wellness — mind, body and spirit — are the most resilient.”

The True Women app is available to all True Women’s Health patients. Those interested in learning more can see a preview in the app store. Users also can connect through a group chat function or a menopause-informed health coach.

The True Women app is available on all devices and integrates Apple Health on iPhones.
