A California-based mental health organization now is providing virtual mental health services in Grand Rapids and across Michigan.

Foresight Mental Health now is accepting patients for its insurance-covered virtual mental health care services to improve access to services and help more people in need. Though all services currently are virtual due to COVID-19 safety precautions, the national mental health care provider opened an office last month at 5110 28th St. SE, Suite 107, in Grand Rapids and plans to offer in-person visits at a later date.

Services include virtual psychiatry, neuropsychology, transcranial magnetic stimulation, nutrition and educational support.

“During this time in our country’s history, it’s more important than ever that mental health care is provided for all Americans,” said Laura Friedberg, clinical leadership, Foresight. “At Foresight, we’ve helped countless members with the use of our innovative technology, as well as the compassionate care we provide. We’re honored to open the Foresight Michigan offices to provide greater access to care for Michiganders in need.”

Foresight has a network of hundreds of full-time therapists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, neuropsychologists and nutritionists. The group’s platform enables providers to deliver personalized treatment plans for patients through its digital health applications and tools.

More information and appointment scheduling is on Foresight’s website.
