A homebuilder is unveiling a new design studio in the region.

Wausau Homes Holland will host a grand opening for its location in Holland, at 456 E. 16th St., on Nov. 9.

The public is invited to the open house from 9:30 a.m. until noon. The event will also feature food, drinks and giveaways.

The design studio features a welcome area where homebuyers can communicate their vision for their new home and begin the design process.

It also includes cabinets and countertops, siding, shingles and more, as well as technology like a 3D viewer to help homebuyers plan and customize their homes.

Wausau Homes Holland is operated by VMB, LLC, a subsidiary of Vander Meulen Builders.

Managing Partner Aaron Vander Meulen, along with Andrea Richardson, marketing and project manager, are partnering with Wausau Homes to “re-invent the building process for lakeshore communities.”

“By partnering with Wausau Homes and opening the new design studio, I’m able to give customers a stress-free building experience different than anything out there today,” Vander Meulen said.

Wausau Homes, based in Wausau, Wisconsin, has been building custom homes in partnership with local builders throughout the Midwest for over 50 years.
