A West Michigan homebuilder was recognized among the best in the country.

Rockford-based Sable Homes was honored as one of the top 250 production homebuilders in the nation during the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders' Show.

The show, held in January in Las Vegas, garnered the attraction of more than 80,000 home-construction professionals, manufacturers and suppliers from around the world.

“We’re proud to be recognized by the National Association of Home Builders for the quality craftsmanship we put into our homes,” said Karin Kay, Sable Homes’ sales manager. “It’s nice to see the name of a family-owned West Michigan company, like Sable Homes, be placed in the national spotlight.”

Sable Homes was featured in the NAHB Production Builder Executive Club’s Largest 250 U.S. Home Builders, based on 2019 housing and builder rankings. This was the second time Sable Homes received this honor from NAHB. The local homebuilder also received the honor at the International Builders' Show in 2018.

“While attending the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders' Show last month, it was an honor for us to see Sable Homes listed a second time as one of the largest homebuilders in the nation,” Kay said. “We are truly humbled to be part of this exclusive group of home builders.”

The production builders’ executive club is an exclusive space for executives from the top 250 single-family builders in the United States. In 2019, more than 500 executives from 200 companies took advantage of the VIP lounge during the show.
