The Spring Parade of Homes across West Michigan is set to begin tomorrow.

The Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids will produce the parade, which will feature 86 homes by 67 builders in 22 West Michigan communities this year.

The event runs from Friday until June 4.

Homes on the tour range from $150,000 to more than $1 million and showcase building styles, green practices and various custom details available in homebuilding.

Homes will be spread out among a number of communities in the region: Ada, Allendale, Byron Center, Caledonia, Comstock Park, Dorr, East Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids, Grandville, Grand Rapids Township, Grandville, Hudsonville, Jamestown, Jenison, Kentwood, Marne, Middleville, Rockford, Spring Lake, West Olive, Wyoming and Zeeland.

“The housing market for greater Grand Rapids is hot again and is receiving recognition as one of the best, if not the best, markets in the country,” said Andy Lofgren, CEO, Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids.

“Our builders and associate members see this event as a premier way to showcase their talents, craftsmanship and creativity to those looking to build new or remodel. Every latest trend in the industry, from dirt to drapes, will be on display to the public.”

Homes on the tour are open Memorial Day, Fridays and Saturdays from 1-9 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5-9 p.m.

Remodeled homes will be open from 1-9 p.m. on June 3-4.
