A Michigan hotelier is planning to add three new hotels in the area.

Farmington Hills-based Stellar Hospitality said it would bring a Holiday Inn Express and two Marriott hotels to Wyoming, according to First & Main today, part of Wyoming-based Granger Group, which has a land-sale agreement with Stellar for another Wyoming hotel project.

The three hotels announced today would be located at 5830 Clyde Park Ave. SW, with construction slated to begin early this summer.

Stellar Hospitality said it would also develop a 6,000-square-foot restaurant near the hotels on Clyde Park Avenue. The company said more details will be available in the coming weeks.

Malik Abdulnoor, CEO of Stellar Hospitality, said his company’s aim is to “add to the momentum” in Wyoming, which he called “thriving.”

Stellar Hospitality also operates the nearby Hampton Inn at the US-131/54th Street interchange and is planning the Fairfield Inn & Suites near the corner of M-6 and Byron Center Avenue at Metro Health Village.

The hotels

The 107-room Holiday Inn Express, which is the first slated for construction, would include modern guest rooms and suites, multi-use meeting spaces, exercise facilities and several other amenities.

The two Marriott hotels would have a combined 230 rooms.

The Courtyard by Marriott offers upper-end, limited service hotel rooms with many amenities.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott, an extended stay brand, would be the first TownePlace Suites location in this market.

TownePlace Suites would offer studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, separate living/working and sleeping areas and on-site laundry and fitness spaces.

Marriott operates more than 300 TownePlace Suites locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
