A national association rated a large group of organizations as West Michigan’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.
The Warren-based National Association for Business Resources (NABR) selected 171 companies in West Michigan to be honored for their “innovative and thoughtful human resources approach.”
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the honorees will be recognized in a digital symposium and awards program from 9:30-11 a.m. May 12.
To participate in the digital conference and awards event, people can contact the NABR at (866) 321-1822 or visit thebestandbrightest.com.
Best and Brightest winners are pooled by the size of their company, including small (100 or fewer employees), medium (101-300 employees) and large (more than 301 employees).
An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measures in various categories, including compensation, benefits and employee solutions; employee enrichment, engagement and retention; employee education and development; recruitment, selection and orientation; employee achievement and recognition; communication and shared vision; diversity and inclusion; work-life balance; community initiatives; and strategic company performance.
The winning companies also compete for 13 elite awards, one granted for each category.
An overall winner that has excelled in all categories will be honored with a “Best of the Best Overall” award. The elite award winners will be revealed during the digital presentation.
