A local talent optimization and recruiting firm appointed a managing director from within its ranks.

Grand Rapids-based Hire for Hope recently said it promoted Tasia Allison from recruiting and consulting manager to managing director.

In her new role, Allison will help set the direction for the firm’s recruiting and talent services and will oversee its recruiting, consulting and operations teams.

“Tasia has demonstrated her strategic abilities by playing a key role in the refinement of our services and our go-to-market techniques,” said Ashley Ward, founder, owner and CEO of Hire for Hope. “As the leader of the recruiting team, it was apparent that she could make a big difference having her hands in multiple facets of the business. Promotion to the role of managing director is well-deserved.”

Allison said she is “honored and thrilled” to continue to be part of Hire for Hope and is excited to step into her new role.

“I have such a passion for our founder’s vision to make an impact in both executive recruiting and our partnership with local nonprofits supporting our mission,” Allison said. “This opportunity continues to be an honor, and I’m overjoyed to be digging in deeper to create an impact in the way West Michigan hires its executive leaders and how Hire for Hope shapes its own internal culture.”

Founded in 2017, Hire for Hope is a talent and recruiting firm based at 49 Monroe Center St. NW, Suite 200, in Grand Rapids. The firm donates 10% of its profits to nonprofits that help women escape domestic violence and rebuild their lives.
