A local law firm has new leadership.
Grand Rapids-based Rhoades McKee named Jon Siebers the chair of its Business Practice Group and named Pam Cross the chair of its Estate Planning and Trust Administration Team.
Siebers is responsible for the business development growth and the delivery of transactional services to the firm’s business clients.
Cross is responsible for the practice development growth and overseeing the delivery of the estate planning, probate litigation and trust administration services.
Siebers has been with the firm for about five years. He is a corporate attorney who focuses on mergers and acquisitions. He has experience in finance, securities and real estate law. Siebers also advises middle market and small companies as an outside general counsel.
He was the first attorney in Michigan to become a certified merger and acquisition adviser through the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors.
Siebers serves on the boards of the Association for Corporate Growth Western Michigan, the Michigan Business Brokers Association and Kids’ Food Basket. He is a member of both the Grand Rapids Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan.
Siebers received his Bachelor of Arts from Hope College and his Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law.
Cross has over 20 years of experience as an estate planning and probate litigation attorney. She helps clients prepare proper estate plans, establish guardianships and conservatorship and work tax issues.
She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration at Aquinas College and her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo School of Law.
