A chain of organic juice bars is opening its first Michigan location in a Grand Rapids suburb.

Clean Juice will open the doors of its store in East Grand Rapids’ Gaslight Village, at 2213 Wealthy St. SE, on July 21.

The chain offers organic juices, smoothies and on-the-go food options.

Franchise owner Dan Farrell said the addition of Clean Juice complements the existing health and wellness focus of East Grand Rapids.

“We’re extremely excited to bring Clean Juice to the state of Michigan,” Farrell said. “Clean Juice is not only about serving quality USDA-certified organic products, but also serving the communities that our stores are located in.”

Scott Wierda, managing partner at Grand Rapids-based CWD Real Estate Investment, which owns the space, said he made a conscious effort to attract a business that reflects the community’s values.

“We look for unique lifestyle and fashion tenants that enhance the charm of Gaslight Village,” Wierda said.

Clean Juice's regular hours will be Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
