A packaging and labeling company is on the move.

Advantage Label recently purchased a four-acre plot at 5575 Executive Parkway, in southeast Grand Rapids.

Chadwick Versluis of NAI Wisinski represented Advantage Label in the $324,800 purchase. Ty Hallock of First Companies, which also owned the land, handled the deal for the seller. Chemical Bank and its recent acquisition, The Bank of Holland, provided financing for the deal, with TBOH’s Gary Palmitier acting as lead lender.

The land will be used to construct a 32,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing building for the company. Construction plans indicate the building could be expanded to 64,000 square feet in the future. Wolverine Building Group designed and will construct the facility, led by project manager Brandon Hartel, with financing from The Bank of Holland.

The space is expected to be finished by the end of the year and will allow Advantage Label to continue its growth.

Advantage Label will move from its current space in the Greenbrooke Office Park in Kentwood.
