A downtown law firm is auctioning roughly 200 "high-end" office furnishings.

Grand Rapids-based Miller Johnson relocated its offices into Arena Place this month after 35 years in the Calder Plaza Building.

Miller Johnson now occupies floors eight through 11 of the 11 story, mixed-use development.

The firm will sell four floors worth of office furniture and fixtures on June 1 in an online auction via, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The auction will have a preview day on May 31, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at’s Wayland Auction Center.

The auction will feature a range of office furnishings: hardwood desks; credenzas; chairs; conference tables and seating; breakroom refrigerators; lobby furniture; and Stow Davis workstations.

“This will be an amazing opportunity for businesses and the public to buy quality furnishings at auction prices,” said Scott Miedema, COO, is part of Miedema Asset Management Group in Byron Center.
