There's a new attorney at a local law firm.
Matthew Wiebe has joined Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge’s Holland office as an associate attorney.
He is practicing business, securities and real estate law, which includes nonprofit and for-profit entity formation and governance.
He was a legal intern at Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge and also interned at the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
While attending Kansas-based Washburn University School of Law, where he received his J.D., Wiebe was an editor for the law school’s student publication and the Washburn Law Journal, Fellow of the Business and Transactional Law Center and a legal intern in the Small Business and Nonprofit Transactional Law Clinic.
He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Grand Rapids Bar Association and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Michigan.
While attending Washburn University, he also earned an M.B.A. along with his J.D. in 2018. Before going to Washburn, he received his B.A. from Tabor College in Kansas.
