A Michigan-based law firm has named the new resident director of an office in the region.
Miller Canfield in Detroit said last month that Danielle Mason Anderson, a principal with the firm, will oversee the overall operations of its Kalamazoo office.
The office includes more than 40 employees, with attorneys from other Miller Canfield offices visiting daily.
“It is an honor to have the support of my peers and firm management,” Mason Anderson said. “Kalamazoo is a thriving community, and Miller Canfield’s office is an important part of that vitality.”
Mason Anderson is a Kalamazoo native and has worked out of the Kalamazoo office since she was first hired by the firm in 2003.
“Kalamazoo is my hometown, and I am thrilled to lead such an outstanding office,” Mason Anderson said.
Mason Anderson is a member of Miller Canfield’s bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency group. She assists clients with all pre- and post-judgment remedies, including receiverships, sale of collateral, foreclosures, repossessions, evictions, debt sales and debt restructures.
She is a graduate of the Northeastern University School of Law and earned her B.S. from Michigan State University.
She resides in Portage.
