A law firm is relocating its downtown office to Arena Place.

McGarry Bair, a Grand Rapids-based intellectual property law firm, will occupy 10,000 square feet on the seventh floor of Arena Place in Grand Rapids, at 45 Ottawa Ave. SW, according to Colliers West Michigan and Orion Construction today.

Colliers brokered the lease for McGarry Bair. Colliers is the brokerage firm for commercial space at the mixed-used development by Grand Rapids-based Orion Construction.

Relocating

The law firm plans to open its doors at the new space early next year.

It is relocating from 32 Market Ave. SW.

One benefit of the new space is that all of the firm’s offices will be located on one floor.

Tom Williams, an attorney at McGarry Bair, said the firm wanted to find a new space downtown that would accommodate all of its team.

“We love being located in downtown Grand Rapids, and our new office space at Arena Place offers great amenities that complement our company’s culture and make it possible for our team to live and work all in one building,” Williams said.

John Wheeler, a spokesperson for Orion Construction, said the “technology, location and vibrancy” of the new building will enhance McGarry Bair’s business.
