On its fifth birthday, a law firm is inviting clients and friends over to watch a movie.

Grand Rapids-based Verity Law is celebrating its fifth anniversary of serving West Michigan by hosting a special screening tomorrow of the long-awaited film “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

The private, invite-only screening will be held at Celebration! Cinema North. The film’s North American release is tomorrow.

Attorney Jay Rosloniec, owner of Verity Law, will address the crowd prior to the viewing as a show of thanks.

“We wanted to reach out to our clients and express our gratitude and thought this was a fun and unique way to say thank you,” Rosloniec said.

Five years of service

Founded by Rosloniec in 2011, Verity Law specializes in general business law, estate planning, taxation and real estate, with offices located in downtown Grand Rapids.

The firm has since expanded to include mediation services and has mediated contract/business disputes, real estate disputes, personal injury cases and a variety of other cases.

The saga continues

Directed by J.J. Abrams and starring members of the original cast, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher, alongside fresh faces, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is the first “Star Wars” movie to be released since 2005.

It is the first installation of a planned sequel trilogy, which was announced following the Walt Disney Company’s acquisition of Lucasfilm in 2012.
