Jordan Hoyer launched a legal consulting firm, Camber Engage, earlier this year.
The Grand Rapids-based firm, at 217 Grandville Ave. SW, is partnering with PR firm Lambert & Co. to offer fractional general counsel.
Camber Engage provides executive-level legal services, such as general business law, litigation management and merger and acquisition due diligence to middle-market companies. Her clients include businesses that are in the biotech, professional services, furniture and distribution markets.
Hoyer serves as general counsel for Lambert & Co., Michigan’s largest PR firm and a top 10 IR agency nationally, spanning six offices in three states.
“The lower middle market has significantly changed and grown more sophisticated over the past decade and companies are adopting alternative staffing structures to remain competitive and profitable,” Hoyer said. “The increased complexity, capital needs and scale of business requires proactive risk management and insight, and our Camber team helps ensure companies are aligning their strategic goals with appropriate regulations and help safeguard corporate reputations and brands.”
Hoyer has experience in litigation in mortgage-backed securities and SEC-regulated environments, contract and corporate disputes; international government affairs; and in-house corporate general counsel.
“Lambert is the proof of concept as we tap Jordan for her insights as a member of our firm’s leadership team, as lead on our M&A activity including three acquisitions in the last six months, and as SEC counsel on a software startup we’ve funded with her help,” said Jeffery Lambert, founder and CEO of Lambert & Co. “Her connections, knowledge and business-tuned legal strategy help our firm grow and innovate, and I’m excited to recommend her legal services through Camber to our clients.”
