A few local law firms were recognized for offering the same level of service as bigger firms.
BTI Consulting Group named Barnes & Thornburg a midsize powerhouse, while Honigman and Warner Norcross + Judd were named midsize heavyweights.
According to the research group, Honigman, Warner Norcross + Judd and Barnes & Thornburg were among 37 midsize firms selected based on their clients’ experience.
“Clients — of their own volition — point to 37 midsize firms as bringing the same level of confidence and reliability as the big firms,” according to the BTI Consulting Group website. “They look to these firms for a wide variety of risky, delicate and thorny matters, including highly customized advice about reopening and related issues. The secret is in the client service. These firms are uber-responsive, dig deep, hard and fast to find the answers. Always quick to embrace new approaches to billing and problems, these firms make sure clients always know who is accountable for their work and the relationship.”
BTI Consulting Group conducted its research by doing open-ended interviews with high-level executives and decision-makers, carried out by senior interviewers.
