A family-owned manufacturing investment and holding company made changes within its organizational leadership and in that of one of its subsidiaries.

Holland-based Coastal Group last week said it made executive leadership team changes for itself and its subsidiary Coastal Automotive, which is a tier one global automotive safety component manufacturer.

Longtime company leader Shaun Sikora, who most recently served as vice president of engineering and technology, now is president at Coastal Automotive. Sikora has worked with Coastal Automotive since its inception, bringing over 25 years of automotive expertise to the role.

“Over the years, Coastal Automotive has shown strong leadership as a tier one automotive safety supplier,” Sikora said. “I’m honored to execute Coastal Automotive’s vision as president and continue providing innovative solutions for the future of automotive safety and sound management.”

Mark McConnell will take on a new role as CFO at Coastal Group. Most recently, he served as Coastal Automotive’s VP of finance. He also has worked in other finance roles within Coastal Group over the years.

Coastal Group’s operating companies also include TKP Investments and Coastal Container, a full-service packaging company supplying businesses nationwide with delivery; durable, cost-effective packaging products; and innovation services.

“We have some big projects on the horizon for Coastal Container, and our growth in recent years has been tremendous,” said Coastal Container CEO and Coastal Group Chair Brent Patterson. “Our team will continue to provide excellent service that protects our customers’ product and reputation from dock to destination.”
