USA Sign Frame & Stake expands in Zeeland Charter Township

A yard sign frame, stakes and signs manufacturer is spending $1.2 million to expand in Ottawa County in a move that will add over 11,000 square feet to its footprint and create six jobs.

USA Sign Frame & Stake on Wednesday, Sept. 22, announced it is investing $1,227,000 in building an 11,990-square-foot new facility in Zeeland Charter Township, according to Lakeshore Advantage, the economic development organization for Ottawa and Allegan counties, which connected the company with local resources to support this project.

“Manufacturing accounts for nearly 40% of our region’s gross domestic product, and more than 1 out of 4 jobs in our region is in manufacturing,” said Jennifer Owens, president of Lakeshore Advantage. “USA Sign Frame & Stake supports our community through (its) choice to grow in West Michigan, and we are pleased to support them through their expansion process.”

This project will enable to USA Sign Frame & Stake to expand its production and operations departments and is expected to create six jobs over the next two years.

Zeeland Charter Township is supporting the project in the form of a 12-year industrial facilities tax exemption.
