Meijer Gardens reveals three summer concerts

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park has announced three of the acts that will make up the lineup for its summer concert series.

Blondie, Of A Revolution, or O.A.R., and Tedeschi Trucks Band will be performing at the attraction’s 2018 Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts.

Blondie

Led by iconic front woman Debbie Harry, Blondie, founded in 1974, is a New Wave pioneer. The band has sold 40-million albums and is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Blondie will perform on June 29.

O.A.R. “Just Like Paradise Tour” with special guest Matt Nathanson

O.A.R., a roots and reggae band, has been on the top of the Billboard charts on numerous occasions. Matt Nathanson, who is based in San Francisco, has emerged on the musical scene due to his vocal and songwriting talents. O.A.R. will perform on Aug. 26.

Tedeschi Trucks Band with special guest Charlie Parr

The Tedeschi Trucks Band is a Grammy-winning rock and roll band comprised of a husband-and-wife duo, guitarist Derek Trucks and guitarist-singer Susan Tedeschi, and a 10-piece ensemble. The band will perform on May 30.

Tickets

Meijer Gardens will sell member-only tickets to the concerts from April 28 through May 11. Members will be eligible for a $5 discount per ticket.

It will open ticket sales to non-members on May 12.

More information on tickets, including prices, will be available following the release of the full lineup in mid-April.
