A metal stamping business on the lakeshore is planning to expand its facilities.

GNS America is planning a 40,000-square-foot addition to its existing facilities, located at 13314 Quincy St., Holland. The project is the third expansion the company has undergone since it outgrew the 100,000-square-foot facility it purchased 2009.

GNS expects to invest $2.8 million into the expansion, increasing manufacturing capacity and adding 30 jobs over the next two years.

Once the facilities have expanded, the company will acquire and install new machines and equipment. Most of the new jobs will be in new machinery operations.

“GNS is committed to providing the best manufacturing employment opportunity for people in West Michigan,” said Todd Deal, chief operating officer. “We would not be this successful without the dedication and commitment of our employees and we are excited to add additional opportunity for others to join our GNS America team as we grow.”
