A lakeshore town is quickly filling up on craft beer after more than half a century without it.

The Muskegon Museum of Art will host On Tap: Michigan Brews, Michigan Art — from 6-9 p.m. tomorrow.

The exhibit will showcase hundreds of recent works from local artists throughout the museum’s galleries, as visitors taste local beer and food samples.

Event organizers describe it as a “memorable made in Michigan evening.”

Muskegon craft brews

In the past year, Pigeon Hill Brewing Co. and Unruly Brewing Co. have opened in downtown Muskegon, and their brews will be served at the event.

Vander Mill Ciders will also be served.

Tickets are $30 at the door, but tickets can be purchased ahead of time for $25 at the museum, Pigeon Hill Brewing, Unruly Brewing, The Book Nook & Java Shop in Montague and Our Brewing Co.

Five 4-ounce tasting samples, with food, are provided with each ticket.
