Museum producing Ethnic Heritage Festival downtown

There will be a celebration of diversity downtown this weekend.

The Grand Rapids Public Museum will host its annual Ethnic Heritage Festival on Saturday, starting at 10 a.m.

The day-long festival will celebrate different cultures in West Michigan through dance, music, crafts and food.

The museum’s café will feature ethnic food selections, and there will be an international beer tasting.

The beer tasting, for those 21 and older, is $5 per person. It will be from 1-4 p.m.

The museum says there will be a variety of organizations, performances and presentations at the festival.
