A West Michigan marketing agency is growing its footprint.

Muskegon-based Revel acquired Borns B2B, a marketing company. The deal was brokered and financed by Left Coast Capital and Community Shores Bank, respectively.

Both businesses will retain their current brands. Borns founder Randy Borns will remain in his business development and creative roles.

“We’re enthusiastic about what Borns B2B brings to the table,” Revel Partner and CEO Jason Piasecki said. “Their B-to-B expertise helps us toward our goal of becoming the top marketing resource for small to midsize manufacturing companies in America.”

Borns work with clients to market architectural products, biotech R&D services, capital equipment, contract manufacturing services, commercial lighting, industrial packaging, medical devices and packaging, and precision bearings.

“When I decided to transition my business, I discovered there is a strong desire among West Michigan agencies to add a business-to-business marketing focus to their service offering,” he said. “I hoped to find a group that would fully commit to this B-to-B niche, and I found this with Revel. As an added bonus, my business has come full circle and returned to downtown Muskegon, where I started it 37 years ago.”
