A Grand Rapids-based transportation company is looking for drivers to ship vital goods amid the COVID-19 crisis.
NTB Trucking announced it is actively hiring experienced CDL-A licensed drivers to help deliver shipments to essential businesses.
Many of these shipments include delivering toilet paper, hand sanitizer, food and medical supplies to various Midwest grocery stores.
“Access to vital supplies can make a big difference for individuals and families now more than ever. We are working overtime to keep shipments moving by hiring more qualified truck drivers to deliver these essential items to stores,” said Henry Schwarz, CEO of NTB Trucking.
NTB Trucking has put in place measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, including communicating with drivers and all employees on how to keep themselves safer during the public health crisis.
“Our primary goal has always been and will continue to be the safety of our employees, no matter what is going on in the world,” said Matt Tawney, VP of sales and customer service for NTP.
NTB promises multiple benefits for drivers, including the same two consecutive days off every week and paid time off. All drivers start with competitive pay and experienced drivers receive a higher starting pay based on experience.
NTB employees also have access to affordable and comprehensive health insurance, which includes life, dental, vision and medical for themselves and their families.
NTB Trucking is a Midwest freight company that delivers shipments to the upper Midwest, including Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio.
