The owner of a french fries and chicken wings kiosk in a local mall has sold his business to an investor.
Ramsey Gilbertsen — founder and president of Grandville-based Fry Nation — sold the operation to Sam Perez this month to focus on other business interests, according to Grand Rapids-based Small Business Deal Advisors, or SBDA, today.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Fry Nation, founded in 2014, has a kiosk in RiverTown Crossings in Grandville, at 3700 Rivertown Pkwy. SW. It also provides limited catering services.
SBDA advised Gilbertsen in the transaction, providing M&A marketing materials and consulting on negotiation, due diligence and closing periods.
The deal was led by Doug Yntema, SBDA associate broker, with assistance from Matt Baas, SBDA co-founder.
