Federal prosecutors in Grand Rapids are looking for potential victims in a case involving pharmacists reselling prescription drugs that were returned to a pharmacy.

Three pharmacists have pleaded guilty in the scheme and are returning to federal court in November for their sentence.

They worked at suburban Grand Rapids' Kentwood Pharmacy, also known as Eastgate Pharmacy.

The owner also had locations in Shepherd, Alma and St. Louis, Mich.

The government says the pharmacists would recover unused prescription drugs from nursing homes and adult foster homes, mingle them with other drugs and illegally sell them again.

The scheme ran for several years through 2010.

Prosecutors say victims have a right to be heard in court and may be eligible for restitution. They can call 616-808-2034.
