A West Michigan restaurant is calling it quits.

Handsome Henry’s in Muskegon, a Chicago-style pizzeria and steakhouse, announced its closure on Facebook this week.

The restaurant opened in March 2010 and is closing because of “bad business decisions,” according to the post written by Owner Cody Christensen.

“The business is not closing because of poor sales, bad food, bad staff, not enough guests,” Christensen says in the post. “It is closing, because I made bad business decisions. I followed my heart and dreams, without using my head. I apologize for letting so many of you down.”

The restaurant will remain open today, Thursday and Friday for fans to have a last meal at Handsome Henry’s, at 3065 Henry St.

“Our guests and countless number of regulars have meant the world to me and our teams,” Christensen says. “They have followed us on this journey through so many good times, and a few bad. We love and thank you all.”
