A local public relations firm has been named the agency of record by Flint Community Schools.
Grand Rapids-based Lambert Edwards & Associates said last week that it will work collaboratively with the school district to develop and implement a strategic and comprehensive communications plan to “further strengthen transparency and community relations.”
The firm will provide a variety of services, including counsel, media relations, content development and corporate, community and crisis communications.
The school district operates 11 campuses.
“We look forward to working with the LE&A team to increase awareness of the district's excellent programs and initiatives, as well as sharing the commitment and passion our educators have in helping us achieve our primary objective — improving student learning,” said Bilal Tawwab, superintendent, Flint Community Schools.
LE&A said it has “deep experience” in the education industry and “much” of its work in its history has been geared toward telling “impact stories.”
