A global maker of oral care products has hired a former pharmaceutical executive to serve as its chief financial officer.
Ranir in Grand Rapids said last week that it has named Andre LeBaron to the role.
LeBaron will be responsible for finance and IT.
He will report to Rich Sorota, who is Ranir’s newly appointed CEO.
LeBaron has more than 17 years in P&L management, acquisitions and financial planning and analysis.
LeBaron was recruited to the position due to his “extensive experience in global financial operations, acquisition support, integrations, internal controls and IT system implementation.”
“We are thrilled to have a person of Andre’s considerable experience join our leadership ranks,” Sorota said.
He noted LeBaron will be a “tremendous asset” to the company as its seeks to “step up the execution of our profitable growth initiatives.”
LeBaron spent the past 12 years at Perrigo.
Before that, he worked for BDO Siedman, where he served as senior financial assurance and national IT audit specialist.
In 2010, LeBaron and his wife, Christy, founded West Michigan Crush Basketball, a nonprofit that provides opportunities for local youth to compete in basketball.
Ranir makes store brand oral care products: power and manual toothbrushes; teeth whiteners; dental floss and flossers; interdental devices; night protectors; and cold sore treatments.
The company serves retail customers globally.
