A new salon has set up shop in Celebration Village.

Sul the Studio, a luxury hair salon, announced it will open in May in the Main Street Business Center at Celebration Village, 2090 Celebration Drive NW.

Sul the Studio, formerly Tricho Grand, has worked out of space in Woodland Mall as it waits for the new, modern space in Celebration Village. The salon also has a new management structure in place.

“Embracing self-care is a philosophy prioritized by the experienced team at Sul the Studio,” said General Manager Missy Thomas.

Sul the Studio is looking to add more stylists to the team. The salon offers a variety of services, ranging for haircuts and styles, to coloring, hair treatments, extensions and waxing.

Jessica McGowan of Ben Muller Realty Company assisted the landlord in securing the client.

“They are the perfect tenant for this space,” McGowan said.

The Knapp’s Crossing area and East Beltline corridor continue to fill up. Plans for a 250-unit mixed-use development were revealed last year that will take up the last vacant parcel in Celebration Village.

At the beginning of January, a new taqueria, Tia Juana, opened nearby on East Beltline. In the past year, the area has seen an Ace Hardware, The Learning Experience and Carter’s open.

DAR Commercial Real Estate adviser Chris Prins said there are still a few vacancies in the area, including several vacant former chain restaurant buildings.
