A Cascade shopping center has new tenants.

Cascade Center, at 6242 28th St. SE in Grand Rapids, leased two of its units to Broken Feather Brewing Supply Center and Rebel Nutrition.

Broken Feather Brewing Supply Center is a retail store. It will occupy 1,616 square feet of space. The store, owned by Terry and Colleen Bowden, sells grains, malts, hops, beer kits, wine kits, honey for mead, and grape and other fruit concentrates. Its grand opening is Dec. 1.

“We want to spread the word that home brewing is not a mystery,” said Colleen Bowden. “It’s easy, interesting, economical and supports a cleaner living style.”

Rebel Nutrition is a smoothie and juice bar owned by Bree Tremain. It occupies 850 square feet of space and now is open.

“We are so grateful for the community of Cascade and the Cascade Center,” Tremain said. “Our neighbors have been very welcoming.”

Bradley Company brokers Drew Nelson and Jeff Tucker represented the landlord on the deal.

Tenants within Cascade Center include multiple restaurants, bars, breweries and retail establishments.
