Holland is among the best lakeside beach towns to live in the United States, according to a national study.

WalletHub recently ranked Holland No. 4 among 46 lakeside beach towns in the U.S. with a total score of 59.28 out of 100. Comparatively, Traverse City ranked at the top of the list with a score of 66.88.

Methodology

To determine the most livable beachside communities, WalletHub compared these cities across six key dimensions: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health and quality of life. The data set ranges from housing costs to share of for-sale waterfront homes to quality of beach water.
