A furniture retailer is relocating its Kentwood store.

Value City Furniture is moving to 4375 E. 28th St. SE in Kentwood on Nov. 18.

“We are excited about the relocation of our Grand Rapids store to offer customers a better, more personalized shopping experience,” said Jonathan Schottenstein, president of Value City Furniture. “This new space will allow us to highlight our Designer Looks line that infuses incredible high-quality design and style that aligns with our core belief that everyone has a right to a well-furnished life.”

The nearly 80,000-square-foot building is 60% larger than its current location in Kentwood Towne Center. The new location features an updated showroom with an expanded selection of Designer Looks, Make it You customizable sofas and sectionals made in the U.S., and ComforTECH power reclining furniture with dual or triple power reclining and built-in phone charging ports.

Value City Furniture is a brand owned by American Signature, a family-owned and -operated furniture retailer based in Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1948, the company operates 123 Value City Furniture and American Signature Furniture stores in 17 states across the U.S. and employs more than 3,700 workers.
