A world-class bridal boutique has announced the opening of its new Grand Rapids store.

True Society, located at 4265 28th St. SE, Suite C, exclusively carries wedding dresses from international, award-winning designers. The shop features 11 fitting rooms and expertly trained bridal stylists.

True Society is part of a global collective of stores, with additional locations in Kansas, Missouri, Germany and Switzerland.

Grand Rapids store owner Sue Rosenberger is the longtime owner of Fantastic Finds bridal shop in Lansing and brings nearly 30 years of experience of working with brides to True Society.

“Today’s bride is looking for more than a wedding dress. They are looking for an experience,” said Rosenberger. “Wedding dress shopping is the ultimate shopping experience, and a wedding dress is likely one of the most luxurious purchases a bride will make in their lifetime. At True Society, we make sure the bride walks away not only with a beautiful dress but with a positive and welcoming experience that represents such a memorable milestone in their life.”

Designers in the True Society portfolio include Essense of Australia, Stella York, Martina Liana, Martina Liana Luxe, All Who Wander, Oxford Street and bridesmaid label Sorella Vita. The shop offers a variety of styles for all tastes and budgets and offers gowns in sizes 2-34.

“My favorite part of what I do is making brides’ dreams come true. At True Society, we do that by transforming our shop into a luxurious destination,” Rosenberger said. “Brides walk in and are immediately transported to a place that feels stylish, welcoming and comfortable. The moment is all about them and we are here to make it as special as possible.”
