A local retailer has been recognized for a Christmas commercial this season.

Meijer’s TV ad “Do you see what I see?” has earned praise since its first airing in November.

The commercial stopped airing on Dec. 25.

The advertisement was produced by The Distillery Project, an ad agency in Chicago.

Adweek recognizes “Do you see what I see?” in an “Ad of the Day” post.

The commercial is the third best on The CW Network’s “Greatest Holiday Commercial Countdown 2016.”

Fast Company’s Co.Create advertising blog also details the ad in a post titled “How the best holiday ads of 2016 worked their magic.”

“We are thrilled that our holiday commercial has touched people and generated such positive attention,” said Nicole Laughlin, VP of brand development and marketing, Meijer. “We wanted viewers to be swept up in the joy and wonder of the season.”
