Riverwalk Festival 2013 strolls into Lowell

The Lowell Riverwalk Festival will spill over downtown Lowell this Thursday through Saturday.

The annual festival offers something for everyone: musical performances, arts and crafts activities, the From the Heart Parade benefiting The Flat River Outreach Ministries Food Pantry, Rumble the Riverwalk motorcycle display and motorcycle run, Riverwalk Cruise-in classic car display, pontoon rides, a kayaking and canoe race, Lowell Moose Bingo, $1,500 State Farm Duck Race, a used book sale, street entertainers, kids activities and a Laurels of Kent fireworks display.

There also will be several food booths at the festival.

The three-day event runs from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m. through the fireworks on Saturday, which begin from Stoney Lakeside Park.

Lowell Riverwalk Festival concerts

  • Rockabilly musicians Delilah DeWylde and The Lost Boys will perform on Thursday from 7-9 p.m.
  • Country music band Stolen Horses will perform on Friday from 7-9 p.m.
