Rock the Rapids has named two performers who have been added to the bill for Aug. 20, in addition to country duo Thompson Square.

Rock the Rapids said country artists Brett Eldredge and Drake White will fill out the day, which completes the lineup for the three-day festival presented by Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort.

The festival scheduled for Aug. 20-22 will be held at Fifth Third Ballpark.

Daughtry and Lifehouse will perform on Aug. 21, and ZZ Top, with special guest Kenny Wayne Shepherd, will peform on Aug. 22.

Eldredge and White are both relative newcomers to country music.

Brett Eldredge

Eldredge made his way into the country music scene in 2010 with his Top 25 hit “Raymond.”

His latest single “Don’t Ya,” an up tempo, flirtatious, summer-feel song, is currently in the Top 10 on the Billboard Country Charts and rising.

“Bring You Back,” his debut album, is set to be released on Aug. 6.

Drake White

White debuted his single “Simple Life” earlier this year and has been touring with well-known country artists, including Willie Nelson, Eric Church and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Tickets are on sale at Rock the Rapids' website.

Beginning this Tuesday, at 10 a.m., a limited number of specially priced $12 general admission bleacher seats will be available.
