A local retirement community has a new executive director.

Holland Home announced Tim Myers as the executive director of its Raybrook Campus in Grand Rapids.

Myers manages the day-to-day operations of the campus, at 2121 Raybrook SE, which offers independent, assisted, memory and skilled nursing care.

Myers replaces Kitty Vydareny, who had served in the role for eight years.

“His gifts in leadership, experience in the health care field and his commitment to the mission of Holland Home make it a blessing to serve with Tim,” Holland Home EVP of Operations Troy Vugteveen said.

Myers said serving with “a talented leadership team and exceptional care providers to fulfill our mission daily is a truly exciting opportunity.”

Myers’ background

Myers spent the previous eight years as the executive director of Atrium Centers in Zeeland, following stints as an administrator with Heartland and Metron Health Systems.

Myers is a licensed nursing home administrator.

He attended Grace College and Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana.
