Vos Glass announced it is opening a second location in Lansing to service existing and new customers in the mid-Michigan area.

The new territory will provide Vos Glass more opportunities to collaborate on building envelope projects with its partner, Architectural Metals Inc. The partnership between AMI and Vos Glass boasts over 75 skilled-building professionals and accredited Department of Labor three-year apprenticeship program to help develop next generation of tradespeople.

The satellite office will be led by Kenneth Emrich, who has 23 years of experience in project management, estimating and business development for some of the state’s premiere-glazing contractors, according to Vos Glass.

“Ken’s proven ability to comprehend both office and field viewpoints, while seamlessly integrating them together, enables our company to not only expand our customer reach but to also expedite installation while reducing project-manpower requirements,” said John Turner, Vos Glass owner and vice president.

Vos Glass Grand Rapids currently has residential and service components; Vos Glass Lansing will be solely focused on commercial glazing projects of all sizes, including small, midsized and large.

The Grand Rapids location will continue to function as the company’s headquarters, containing all company administration and fabrication responsibilities, while the Lansing location will accommodate regional customer demand with its own team of field and office personnel.
