A snack brand is collaborating with a boxed-wine company to deliver a limited-edition product.
Cheez-It, a brand of Battle Creek-based Kellogg Company, partnered with House Wine, a brand of Seattle-based Precept Wine, to create the House Wine + Cheez-It box, according to Kellogg today.
“Just like wine and cheese, you can pair the real cheese inside each Cheez-It flavor with the perfect wine complement and find a pair to enjoy all summer long,” said Jeff Delonis, senior marketing director, Kellogg’s U.S. Snacks.
The product is a side-by-side boxed pairing of Original Red Blend House Wine and Original Cheez-It.
The red wine used in the product is made from the red grape varietals Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and clocks in at 13% alcohol by volume.
Beginning July 25, the House Wine + Cheez-It box will be available for purchase online for $25, while supplies last.
