A Grand Rapids software company has a new vice president of operations.
Dan Hodgson was promoted to the position at SalesPad. In his new role, he will oversee SalePad’s support, project management, implementation and development teams. He also will create and manage budgets and personnel plans for 2018.

Hodgson joined SalesPad in 2011 as a customer representative on the company’s technical support team. He has held numerous roles at SalesPad, including implementation specialist, manager of implementation and support services and, most recently, director of professional services and support.
“Dan is the king of efficiency — constantly measuring and reporting on how long it takes to complete tasks and finding ways to make our processes more efficient,” said Matt Williams, president of SalesPad. “Dan will be a great addition to our leadership team and we look forward to his growth in this role.”
SalesPad helps more than 1,200 companies in Michigan and across the United States with the inventory management process. SalesPad utilizes its own enterprise resource planning software, as well as existing accounting platforms like Microsoft Dynamics GP and Quickbooks, with the goal of delivering important customer data without compromising security.
