Ride United bike event returns in September

The annual Ride United (United Way of the Lakeshore) bike event will return Sept. 25 with starting locations in Muskegon, Newaygo and Oceana.

The event will feature different routes that have different distances, including 6-mile, 25-mile, 50-mile and 100-mile courses.

The event will support programs in the community that help ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained, Employed) families.

Registration is required online, which is $25 for early bird single registration that includes a T-shirt or $15 for early bird single registration with no T-shirt. Registered participants will receive an email with instructions for timed, tracked race apps for mobile phones, a map, Taste of Muskegon voucher and opportunities to win prizes throughout the event.
