There’s a new steakhouse in the region.
Rail House Grill in Holland, at 91 Douglas Ave., is officially celebrating its grand opening April 17 through May 7 by offering some specials and discounts.
The 150-seat restaurant said this week it opened in February.
The restaurant features “comfort foods” and grilled and barbeque meats, as well as burgers, sandwiches, shrimp, perch and salmon, flatbreads, pasta, salads and hand-cut fries.
Chef James Tucker, who oversees the kitchen, said the steak-tip appetizer with portabella mushrooms is a “rising star” on the menu.
The restaurant also features a “bottoms-up” beer tap, which fills beer glasses from the bottom.
Jackie Brandsen, Rail House Grill GM, called the bear tap “quite a novelty.”
Rail House Grill is the second business for owner Casey Lim at the location.
The original restaurant shared space with a billiards room, which moved into adjoining space next door and expanded.
Lim has invested more than $150,000 in renovating the Rail House Billiards room and opening Rail House Grill.
