Tech company hires chief revenue officer

A local tech company has named a new CRO.

Grand Rapids-based operational ERP software company SalesPad has announced the addition of Matt Williamson as chief revenue officer.

"One of the things that attracted me most to SalesPad was the satisfaction I witnessed from the SalesPad customer base,” Williamson said. “We are empowering executives, customer service reps and warehouse managers to execute on great business ideas more quickly and with more confidence."

Prior to joining SalesPad, Williamson was CEO and co-founder of Windsor Circle Inc., a predictive marketing platform. Under his leadership, Windsor Circle won Google Demo Day, raised $15M in venture capital, was named an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company and a Best Place to Work, and was acquired in 2018 by OSG/WhatCounts.

Before his career with Windsor Circle, Williamson served as vice president of sales at Bronto Software, where he helped organically grow the company’s email marketing business from $2 million to $12 million, setting the stage for an eventual exit to Oracle/NetSuite. Williamson earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees with honors from the University of North Carolina.
