A local IT consulting firm is planning to invest $2.5 million in a new headquarters that will bring 68 new high-tech jobs.

Currently based at 4079 Park E. Court SE in Grand Rapids, ITS Partners is looking to occupy 12,000 square feet in Kent County, though a site has not yet been finalized, according to The Right Place yesterday.

With the firm facing a general expansion of technology and security threats, the company, which employs 56 people, needs the additional space and employees to accommodate increased sales.

The Right Place said ITS Partners has worked with more than 1,000 organizations.

"Finding and attracting top tech talent requires highly functional workspaces that support collaboration and productivity,” said Jeremy Frost, CFO, ITS Partners.

“Accessing Michigan tech talent, with the support of The Right Place, is key to our success serving customers nationally, while keeping the local company culture that has made ITS a great place to work for over 30 years."

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation, or MEDC, approved of a $476,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant for the project.

The Right Place, an economic development agency in Grand Rapids, worked with the ITS Partners in collaboration with the MEDC to “assist the company’s local growth.”

“ITS is another example of West Michigan’s growing information technology industry,” said Jen Wangler, business development manager, The Right Place.

“Keeping ITS in our region and helping them to add 68 new high-tech jobs further validates our region’s commitment to growing this sector.”
