A Grand Rapids-based tech firm has appointed a local human resources veteran to its growing leadership team.
Tech Defenders announced the addition of Lisa Cooper as director of human resources. In her new role, Cooper oversees the company’s personnel and policies at a time when it continues to grow and serve the West Michigan community.

Cooper brings to the company over 15 years of strategic human resources leadership experience. Most recently, she served as a consultant with HR Collaborative, providing human resources strategy and solutions to business leaders in West Michigan.
Founded in 2015, Tech Defenders is an ISO-9001-certified company focused on the re-marketing and re-use of refurbished devices like laptops, tablets, phones, etc. The company currently is processing 45,000 laptops and tablets per month.
