A technology and media development company and an e-learning firm will combine under a new name.

Grand Haven-based Th3rd Coast Digital Solutions is merging with the global Inno-Versity brand to form MindSpring, headquartered at 445 Pettis Ave. SE in Ada.

Century Technology Group, the parent company of Inno-Versity and Th3rd Coast, said it decided to bring the companies together under a single brand due to their complementary offerings.

“We’re extremely excited about what this means for our clients,” said Joel Ippel, vice president of sales and marketing at Inno-Versity. “Our consultative approach will remain unchanged, but now we have more collective tools at our disposal for helping to solve client challenges.”

The merger will allow the combined organization to provide more client solutions in the areas of consulting and strategy, digital content and innovative technology.

Inno-Versity clients will gain additional technology expertise and media production capabilities, while Th3rd Coast clients will benefit from expanded learning science and consulting offerings.

“We’ve built a great team at Th3rd Coast,” said Joseph Van Harken, chief innovation officer, Th3rd Coast. “By bringing our two organizations together under a single brand, we’ll provide even more opportunity for all team members and better service to our clients.”

Century Technology Group acquired Th3rd Coast in August 2021.
